Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, the doctor of Al Ahly Club, revealed the details of the injury suffered by Hossam Shahat, the team's player, during the match against Ismailia Electricity in the league.

It is noteworthy that Shahat complained of pain in the hamstring during his participation in the first half of the match between Al Ahly and Ismailia Electricity, and the medical staff preferred to substitute him to avoid aggravating the injury.

According to what Gaballah explained in statements to the official Al Ahly website on Wednesday evening, the scans and tests that Shahat underwent revealed that he suffered a severe injury, specifically a "tear in the hamstring tendon."

The Al Ahly doctor disclosed that Shahat will continue with the protocol for physical therapy and rehabilitation, as the initial treatment period will not be less than 7 weeks.
