Important Request from Flick to Barcelona Players

Wednesday 08-10-2025
Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that FC Barcelona's head coach, Hans Flick, held two meetings with the team's players following the recent loss against Sevilla in La Liga, which came just days after the defeat against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

According to the newspaper, Flick spoke on Sunday with the players who left to join their national teams, then met on Monday with those who remained in Barcelona, before taking a short leave for personal reasons that will last until next week.

The newspaper clarified that Flick emphasized during his talk the importance of using the international break as an opportunity to reset the team, both physically and mentally, after playing seven matches in just 21 days.

The German coach believes that this period represents an ideal time for rest and reflection, in order to come back strong and regain the positive rhythm in preparation for the next phase of the season, with the aim of continuing to compete in all tournaments.

Flick urged his players to maintain full focus when returning to training after the break, stressing the need to put the recent negative results behind them and get back on the path to victories.
