Alyou Diang Requests Double His Salary to Renew Contract with Al Ahly
Media figure Ahmed Hassan, a former star of Egyptian football, revealed the latest developments in Al Ahly's negotiations with Alyou Diang, the team player, regarding the renewal of his contract.
Ahmed Hassan stated via Facebook: "Source: Alyou Diang does not mind renewing with Al Ahly, but he has requested to receive double the salary he currently earns, which the club's management considers to be excessive."
He added: "There will be a meeting with the player's agent before January to agree on the renewal or his departure in the winter transfer window to benefit financially from his departure."
Al Ahly is preparing to face Eagle Noir on Friday, October 17, in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.
