Real Madrid Decides Not to Sign Rodri
Tuesday 07-10-2025
Spanish network 'Defensa Central' confirmed that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has officially decided to rule out the idea of signing Rodri, the Manchester City midfielder, in the near future.

According to the report, Perez believes that the high price expected for the Rodri deal cannot be justified given that the player has faced a series of injuries recently, which raises concerns within the club's management about the viability of investing in his acquisition.

Rodri is considered one of the best midfielders in the world, and his name has been linked to Real Madrid over the past months as an option to strengthen the midfield. However, economic and physical factors have led the royal club to dismiss the deal for the time being.

Rodri has a contract with Manchester City until the summer of 2027, and reports have claimed that the deal could cost Real Madrid 100 million euros, at a time when the player is suffering from recurring injuries and is approaching the age of 30.
