Zamalek Club issued an official statement in response to the rumors about the administration's consideration of the departure of John Edward, the club's sporting director.
The club stated in its official statement, through its website, that it is not true what has recently been circulated regarding the administration's intention to end John Edward's tenure, and there is no such intention.
It is worth noting that the media figure Ibrahim Abdel Jawad mentioned that Zamalek's administration is considering ending John Edward's tenure due to his inability to pay the dues of players and clubs that the club contracted with in previous periods.
Hesham Nasr, the vice president of Zamalek, recently stated that John Edward's contract with the club is for 3 seasons.
