Al Ahly Duo Agree to Renewal Principle
Media figure Ahmed Hassan revealed that Al Ahly duo Ahmed Abdelkader and Hussein El Shahat have agreed to the principle of renewing with the club.
Hassan stated on Facebook: "A source in Al Ahly: Ahmed Abdelkader and Hussein El Shahat have agreed to the principle of renewal with Al Ahly, but there is a conflict between the club's offer and the duo's requests, whether in the duration of the contract or the salary."
He added: "A new meeting will be held in the coming days to try to satisfy the duo and reach an agreement."
Al Ahly currently occupies third place in the league table with 18 points.
