Competitions Grant Saudi League Quartet an Extra Day of Rest
The Competitions Department of the Saudi Professional League Association has approved the requests of Al-Nassr, Al-Ahli, Al-Hilal, and Al-Ittihad clubs regarding the scheduling of their matches in the Roshan League.
According to reports, the Competitions Department agreed to the requests of Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, and Al-Ahli clubs to provide an additional day of rest, making it 3 days instead of 2 after their teams' matches in the Asian Elite and King’s Cup.
The Competitions Department responded to Al-Ittihad's request to adjust the timing of one match, but rejected the requests from Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, and Al-Ahli for reasons related to stadium availability and fairness in competition.
Sources indicated that these adjustments were made following individual meetings held between the Competitions Department and representatives of the four major clubs, the week before last, to determine the schedules and venues.
