Milan and Juventus Draw in Serie A Clash
Sunday 05-10-2025
The goalless draw decided the match between Juventus and their guest Milan in the sixth round of the Italian league, at the Allianz Stadium.

The match started cautiously from both sides, with each team preferring not to take risks in the early minutes. Milan tried to threaten first through Davide Bartesaghi, who sent a fine cross to his teammate Vofana, but the latter sent it far from the goal.

On the other hand, Juventus continued to rely on crosses, but misunderstandings between Jonathan David and Weston McKennie deprived the team of two promising chances.

The most dangerous chance of the first half came from Milan after Pulisic intercepted the ball in midfield and sprinted towards the penalty area before stumbling and falling, while Juventus' most dangerous chance came from a powerful shot by Gatti that was brilliantly saved by Maignan.

In the 52nd minute, Milan had a golden opportunity to take the lead after Lloyd Kelly fouled striker Santiago Gimenez inside the penalty area. Pulisic stepped up to take the penalty but shot the ball high over the crossbar, wasting a precious chance for his team to advance.

Leao missed two chances in the final minutes that could have secured all three points for Milan, ending the match in a disappointing goalless draw for the visiting team, which will feel regret for the missed penalty.

After this draw, Milan's points tally rose to 13, placing them in third place, while Juventus raised their tally to 12 points, sitting in fifth place, tied with Inter in fourth.
