Napoli achieved an important victory against Genoa with a score of 2-1 in the match held at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, as part of the sixth round of the Italian league.

The match started with relative control from Napoli, but Genoa surprised the hosts by opening the scoring in the 34th minute through player Jeff Iketoru, ending the first half leading by one goal to none despite Napoli's attempts to equalize before the break.

In the second half, Napoli returned strongly and managed to equalize in the 58th minute thanks to a powerful shot from André Zambo Anguissa, before Rasmus Hojlund scored the second goal in the 75th minute, giving his team the lead and guiding them to a valuable victory.

With this result, Napoli raised their points to 15 at the top of the Italian league table, while Genoa remained stuck at two points in the nineteenth position.
