Union Ends Contract with Conceição
Sources revealed today, Sunday, that the management of Ittihad Club, headed by Fahd Sindi, has officially completed the contract with Portuguese coach Sergio Conceição, the former AC Milan coach, to lead the team during the current season.
The sources confirmed that the club has reached an agreement with the Portuguese coach to train the team for two and a half seasons.
Conceição will replace French coach Laurent Blanc, who was dismissed due to poor results during the current season, the latest of which was the loss against Al-Nassr in the Saudi League classic.
According to sources, Conceição is expected to lead Ittihad in his first match against Al-Fayha scheduled for Friday, October 17, as part of the fifth round of the Roshan League.
