The Spanish club Barcelona has renewed its interest in the German star Karim Adeyemi, the winger of Borussia Dortmund, after he was a target for the Catalan team since 2021 when he shone in the colors of Austrian Salzburg.

Borussia Dortmund signed Adeyemi, who is 23 years old, in the summer of 2022 for over 30 million euros, and the player is under contract with the German club until 2027.

After a period of declining performance, Adeyemi has regained his brilliance this season under coach Niko Kovac, scoring 3 goals and providing 5 assists in 13 matches.

According to the German newspaper "Bild," Borussia Dortmund plans to extend the player's contract until 2029, but failed negotiations could lead the club to consider selling him at the end of the season, as he will enter the final year of his current contract.
