The Spanish club Real Madrid is awaiting good news regarding the condition of its English defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, and the date of his return to the pitch after a long absence due to injury.

Real Madrid announced last September that Arnold had sustained an injury to the hamstring of his left thigh, which has kept him from participating in matches since then.

Although the club has not officially specified the duration of his absence, Spanish media reports previously indicated that his absence was expected to be between 6 to 8 weeks.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca", there is a sense of optimism within Real Madrid regarding Arnold's recovery, as he is expected to return to team training immediately after the end of the international break in October, following his full recovery from the injury.

It is noteworthy that Alexander-Arnold, 26 years old, has participated in only five matches with Real Madrid this season 2025/2026 across various competitions, without scoring or assisting any goals.
