Al-Police club snatched a valuable victory in the final moments of the match against its counterpart Electricity, with a score of one goal to none, in the match held this evening at Al-Zawraa International Stadium, as part of the fourth round of the Iraqi Stars League.

The match was balanced for most of its duration, as the Electricity team presented a distinguished performance and high defensive organization against the attacking strength of Al-Police, managing to hold on until the last minutes before the match was decided by small details.

In stoppage time, specifically in the 94th minute, defender Ahmed Yahya succeeded in scoring the precious winning goal for Al-Police, after continuous pressure on the Electricity goal, which its players defended valiantly until the last moment.

With this killer victory, Al-Police raised its tally to 9 points, securing third place in the standings, while Electricity remained stuck at one point in seventeenth place, despite the good performance the team showed against one of the top contenders for the title.
