The Spanish newspaper 'AS' revealed that the relationship between Kylian Mbappé and Arda Güler has become one of the key factors for Real Madrid's success this season, as the duo has formed one of the most effective attacking partnerships in the major European leagues.

The newspaper mentioned that Mbappé and Güler have contributed to five goals together in just a month and a half of competition, with the Frenchman scoring 13 goals and the Turkish player netting 3, accounting for about 70% of Real Madrid's total goals so far.

The same source clarified that Güler has provided 50 passes to Mbappé this season, more than any other player, including seven passes that turned into shots, from which Mbappé scored four decisive goals, most notably against Real Oviedo and Almaty. Additionally, Mbappé returned the favor by assisting Güler's goal against Real Sociedad.

The newspaper confirmed that coach Xabi Alonso played a significant role in enhancing this connection between the players, noting that Güler plays in the playmaker position to link the lines and exploit his skill in key passes.

AS pointed out that Mbappé receives a key pass from Güler every 161 minutes this season, a remarkable rate that has made this duo the most productive at Real Madrid. Furthermore, Mbappé continued to shine by scoring 47 goals in 2025, including 13 goals in 9 matches with the royal team.
