
Officially: Bentancur Renews Contract with Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur announced on its official website that its Uruguayan player Rodrigo Bentancur has signed a new long-term contract with the team, continuing his journey with the London club after his impressive performance since joining from Juventus in January 2022.
Bentancur, who is 28 years old, has played 122 matches for the Spurs so far, scoring nine goals and was a key player in the team's victory in the Europa League last season, having participated in 13 out of 15 matches and played the final in full in Bilbao.
In statements to the club's official website, Bentancur expressed his happiness, saying: "I am very happy to continue my journey with this wonderful club, my family is happy here, and I have great friends and teammates, winning the Europa League was a special moment, and now we aim for more titles."
