The Spanish Football Federation announced the appointment of referee Guillermo Cuadra to officiate the match between Real Madrid and Villarreal tomorrow, Saturday, at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium at 10 PM, as part of the La Liga competition, while Iglesias will take on the role of Video Assistant Referee.

Cuadra has previously officiated 17 matches for Real Madrid in the league, resulting in 10 wins, three draws, and four losses for the royal team, the latest being a loss to Valencia 2-1 last season. He has also officiated a match between Real Madrid and Villarreal at the Bernabéu last season, which ended with a 2-0 victory for the Merengues.

As for Villarreal, the Spanish referee has officiated 16 league matches, during which the team achieved four victories, four draws, and eight losses. In the current season, he led the match between the Yellow Submarine and Girona, which ended with Villarreal winning 5-0.
