Khalifa Grants Al-Ittihad Players 4 Days Off
Hassan Khalifa, the interim coach of the Saudi Al-Ittihad Club, has granted his players a 4-day break during the international break.
According to media reports, the Al-Ittihad players' vacation began on Wednesday following their loss to Al-Ahly Dubai by a single goal on Tuesday, in the second round of the AFC Champions League in Jeddah.
Al-Ittihad Club will resume training next Sunday after the break that the players received from coach Hassan Khalifa.
Sources indicated that the medical staff at Al-Ittihad is working to prepare injured players like Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti and Hossam Aouar, after they sustained injuries to their hamstrings in previous matches.
