Latest Developments on the New Coach File at Al-Ahly
Media figure Ahmed Shobair, a former star of Al-Ahly, revealed the latest developments regarding the new coaching file at Al-Ahly.
Shobair stated in radio remarks: "Walid Salah El-Din confirmed that Emad Nassar will lead Al-Ahly in the five matches until the international break, but every time Al-Ahly wins a match, Emad Nassar gains the confidence of Al-Ahly fans."
He added: "Al-Ahly has reached three times where they finalized with a coach, but the negotiations did not complete, the latest being Danish coach Thomas Berg, and it was decided to be patient in the matter of the coach. Al-Ahly will not rush in the coaching file and has requested from Osama Hilal (Director of Contracts) to postpone the matter until a coach suitable for Al-Ahly is found."
Coach Jose Ribeiro left Al-Ahly due to poor results, and Emad Nassar was appointed as the interim head coach.
