Matheus Gonçalves May Return to Flamengo Due to Unpaid Dues
The network "Bolavip" revealed that Matheus Gonçalves, a player for the Saudi club Al Ahly, is close to returning to his club Flamengo in Brazil due to the club's failure to pay his dues.
Matheus Gonçalves joined Al Ahly as part of the foreign players under the age limit during the last summer transfer window.
The network added that Flamengo sold the young player to Al Ahly for 8 million euros to be paid in 3 annual installments starting in 2025, but the Brazilian club has not received any amount so far, even though the first installment was supposed to be paid on September 30.
It continued that Flamengo's management decided to recall the player if payment is not made by October 4.
