Thursday 02-10-2025
Spanish newspaper 'AS' revealed that Dani Carvajal, defender of Real Madrid, is close to joining the Clasico match against Barcelona, scheduled for October 26, as part of the Spanish league fixtures.

According to the report, the player suffered a muscle tear in his right leg, raising concerns about a potential absence of up to five weeks. However, recent tests showed that the injury is less severe than expected, and his absence may not exceed three weeks.

The newspaper clarified that the medical staff at Real Madrid is optimistic about Carvajal's timely return for the Clasico, as the player is undergoing an intensive program of physiotherapy and training to maintain his physical fitness, with a strong determination to return as soon as possible.

AS confirmed that Carvajal will miss Real Madrid's upcoming matches against Villarreal, Getafe, and Juventus, in addition to the international break, but he considers the Clasico a personal goal and is working hard to be present in Xabi Alonso's starting lineup.
