The Spanish defender Eric Garcia of Barcelona expressed his disappointment after the loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the match that took place as part of the second round of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.

Garcia said: "They are very annoying, I think we were good in the first half, we had some opportunities, we controlled the match, and when we conceded the goal, we eased the pressure and they started attacking more easily. In the second half, we were behind and it was very difficult for us. A draw would have given us some consolation, but in the end, they scored the second goal."

He added: "I was exhausted; I was substituted because my hamstring felt tight."

Garcia also touched on the team's overall performance: "They had the ball more, and we couldn't press as well as we did in the first half. When you are behind the ball, you tire more; they also had some opportunities."

He concluded his remarks by emphasizing the difficulty of the match and the team's desire to continue: "Last season, we started with a loss in Monaco. Today we knew the match was difficult; we wanted to win, but we faced very tough opponents, and now we have to continue."
