Real Madrid player Fede Valverde has broken his silence to respond to recent reports claiming that he refuses to play in a position other than his (right-back) position, affirming his full commitment to his club and his readiness to fight for the team until the end.

The player stated via his account on X platform: "I have read several articles that misrepresent me. I know that I have played poorly in some matches, and I am aware of that. I do not hide and I face it. In fact, I am sad. They can say many things about me, but under no circumstances can they say that I refuse to play. I have given everything I have and more for this club, I have played while broken and injured, and I have never complained or asked for rest."

He added: "I have a good relationship with the coach, which gives me the confidence to tell him which position I prefer on the field, but I have always assured him that I am available to perform anywhere, on any trip, and in all matches."

He concluded by saying: "I have left my soul in this club and I will continue to do so, even if it is not always enough or I do not play as I want, I will never give up and I will fight until the end, and play wherever I am needed."
