Media personality Ahmed Shouber, a former Al Ahly star, criticized Juan Alvina Bezera, a Zamalek player, after his recent statements.

Zamalek lost to Al Ahly with a score of 2-1 in the summit match that took place in the ninth round of the Premier League.

Bezera said after the match on Instagram: "Individual performance only succeeds when the collective performance succeeds... We all need to play together: the fans, the players, and the coaching staff... The defeat is painful, but it is the moment to show who truly wears the jersey."

Shouber stated in his radio comments: "This is not the right time at all; the constants within the club must be respected, and it is unacceptable for a player to speak like this after a defeat."

He added that such statements did not occur in the past when commitment dominated Zamalek players.

Shouber pointed out: "Zamalek's fans cannot bear this... They are loyal fans, always supporting the team, and they do not expect a player to come out and attack or insinuate after a loss."
