Yaissle Decides to Continue Team Training During International Break
A special source revealed to Al-Riyadiyah newspaper that German Matthias Yaissle, coach of the Al-Ahli Saudi football team, has decided to continue training during the international break, which coincides with the Saudi national team's camp in preparation for the Asian playoff matches against Indonesia and Iraq on October 8 and 14, respectively.
The source clarified that Al-Ahli players will continue training for four days after returning from Doha, after which the coaching staff will grant them a break of about a week before resuming the upcoming preparations.
The Al-Ahli delegation returned to Jeddah following a 2-2 draw with Qatari Al-Duhail in the second round of the AFC Champions League, placing the team second in their group standings in the West.
Yaissle is expected to begin preparations for the match against Al-Shabab in the fifth round of the Roshan Saudi League, scheduled to take place on October 17 at the Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, after the vacation period ends.
