Meeting Between Al-Khatib and Mansour Before Announcing the Electoral List
Mamdouh Al-Khatib, the chairman of Al-Ahly Club, held a meeting with Yassin Mansour before announcing the electoral list for President Al-Khatib.
Al-Khatib met with Mansour at the Al-Ahly Club branch in the Fifth Settlement on Tuesday morning after the latter agreed to join Captain Al-Khatib's list as his deputy.
According to sources, the announcement of Al-Khatib's list is scheduled to take place on the last permitted day for submitting election papers to the responsible authority at Al-Ahly Club.
It is worth noting that Al-Khatib is considering several names in the coming hours, especially for positions under the age limit and two seats above the age limit.
On his part, sources clarified that Dr. Hisham Al-Amri has not yet submitted his candidacy papers for the Al-Ahly Club elections, and he went to the club's headquarters in Al-Jazeera yesterday morning and withdrew the nomination forms, but he has not submitted them officially.
