Al-Ahly Considers Three Names to Strengthen the Left Flank
Tuesday 30-09-2025
Sources have revealed that Al-Ahly club officials are planning to strengthen the team's left flank during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Al-Ahly has been struggling on the left flank this season despite signing Mohamed Shokry, who has been injured in recent times.

According to the sources, Al-Ahly's management is considering three players: Tawfiq Mohamed from Petrojet, Yahya Zakaria from Ghazl El Mahalla, and Moroccan Youssef Belalmi from Raja Casablanca, in preparation for making a final decision regarding strengthening this position in January.

The sources indicated that Al-Ahly's management entered into negotiations with Tawfiq Mohamed during the last summer transfer window to bolster the left flank, but his club refused to let him go.

The sources clarified that Yahya Zakaria's name has emerged among the candidates in case the contract with Tawfiq Mohamed fails, and Al-Ahly's management is also considering signing Youssef Belalmi, the left-back from Raja Casablanca.
