Spanish newspaper "Sport" revealed that the anticipated match between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain at the Montjuïc Stadium will feature a special rivalry between Pedri and Vitinha, the midfield stars of both teams, following the controversy surrounding the recent Ballon d'Or results.

According to the newspaper, the exclusion of Pedri from the top ten rankings, finishing in eleventh place, was met with great astonishment, especially since many believed that the preference of the voters for Vitinha, who came in third after an outstanding season with Paris, was at the expense of the Barcelona player.
