The French coach Laurent Blanc sent a special message to Ittihad fans following the decision to officially dismiss him from leading the Jeddah team, after the loss to Al-Nassr in the Saudi league classic.

Laurent Blanc bid farewell to Ittihad fans with a special message through a video clip shared by the club's account on the 'X' platform.

In his message, Blanc said: 'To the fans of Ittihad Club; it was a beautiful season, I am proud to have been a part of the club's journey.. goodbye.'

Blanc visited the Ittihad headquarters yesterday, Sunday, accompanied by his assistants to say goodbye to the players before leaving Saudi Arabia.

It is worth noting that Ittihad announced the termination of the contractual relationship with coach Blanc and his coaching staff officially, and appointed Hassan Khalifa as interim coach until a new coaching staff is settled.
