Barcelona achieved an important victory over their counterpart Real Sociedad with a score of 2-1, in the match that brought the two teams together at the Montjuïc Stadium as part of the seventh round of the La Liga.

Real Sociedad took the lead first in the 31st minute through Álvaro Odriozola after a precise pass from Barinichia, before Barcelona quickly equalized in the 43rd minute through defender Jules Koundé with a powerful header following a corner executed by Marcus Rashford.

In the second half, Barcelona continued to apply pressure until Polish striker Robert Lewandowski scored the second goal in the 59th minute with a brilliant header from a cross sent by the young and outstanding Lamine Yamal.

With this victory, Barcelona raised its points total to 19 at the top of the La Liga standings, while Real Sociedad's points remained at 5 in the seventeenth position, while Real Madrid sits second with 18 points.
