Al-Fateh Attacks Refereeing and Demands Justice After Loss to Al-Qadisiyah
Sunday 28-09-2025
The management of Al-Fateh Club criticized on Saturday what it described as "grave refereeing errors" that have recurred in its first team matches in the Roshan Saudi League, affirming that these decisions have harmed the team's progress and cost it deserved points.

In a statement on the club's official website, the board expressed its deep dissatisfaction with the refereeing level in recent rounds, pointing out that the last match against Al-Qadisiyah was a clear example of unjust decisions.

The statement clarified that these errors were not limited to one match, but have recurred multiple times since the beginning of the season, negatively reflecting on the fairness of the competition and leading to results that do not reflect the significant efforts made within the club.

Al-Fateh's management confirmed its full confidence in the Saudi Football Federation and the Referees Committee to act swiftly to address these issues, demanding the guarantee of justice and the preservation of clubs' rights, in line with the significant development witnessed in Saudi football.

The team suffered another defeat against Al-Qadisiyah, losing by a goal to nil on home ground, in a match that saw the expulsion of Spanish goalkeeper Fernando Pacheco, which further fueled the anger of both fans and management.

With this result, Al-Fateh's tally remains at just one point, after one draw and three losses, placing it in sixteenth position in the Roshan League standings, amid widespread calls to rectify the situation before it's too late.
