Media figure Ahmed Hassan revealed the first request from Danish coach Thomas Thomassberg to the Al Ahly management.
Hassan stated on his Facebook page: "Danish Thomas Thomassberg asked the Al Ahly officials to include 6 assistants in the new coaching staff."
He added: "The nominee for Al Ahly's coach requested to include a general coach, a physical fitness planner, a goalkeeping coach, a set-piece coach, and 2 performance analysts in the coaching staff."
It is expected that the official announcement of the new coach's contract with Al Ahly will be made after the match against Zamalek tomorrow, Monday.
