Amr Adib directed a message of support to the Zamalek team before the derby match against Al Ahly.

Zamalek will face Al Ahly next Monday in the ninth round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Amr Adib stated via the 'X' platform: "To the strong players of Zamalek: You are the most talented, you are the strongest, you are the frontrunners, you know the way to the Al Ahly goal amidst their retreating defense, you know that you are the best. All of this can stand against luck, against seizing opportunities, against other historical factors. With God's help, this match is ours. Do not think about the past; look to the great near future. The road to the trophy is open on Monday; seize the opportunity before it closes forever."

The match will kick off at 8 PM Cairo and Mecca time.
