The Air Force team successfully achieved a tough victory against their guest Al-Minaa with a score of 1-0, in the match held this evening, Saturday, at the International City Stadium, as part of the third round of the Iraqi Stars League.

The only goal of the match came early, as player Harith Hatim managed to score in the fifth minute, giving the "Falcons" a quick advantage that the team maintained until the end.

At the beginning of the second half, a valuable opportunity arose for the Air Force to enhance their lead after they were awarded a penalty kick in the 53rd minute, but player Saad Abdul Amir failed to convert it into a goal after missing it.

The situation for Al-Minaa became more complicated in the 76th minute when their defender Najm Shwan received a second yellow card and left the field with a red card, forcing the team to complete the match with ten players.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, Al-Minaa nearly snatched an equalizer in the dying moments when player Mahmoud Khalil scored a goal in the 91st minute, but the referee disallowed it for offside, ending the match with a valuable victory for the Air Force.

With this victory, the Air Force raises its points to 6 from two matches played so far, while Al-Minaa's points remain at 3 after their second loss of the season.
