Mourinho Wants to Sign Karim Benzema
Journalist José Félix Díaz reported that French striker Karim Benzema, a player for the Saudi team Al-Ittihad, is seriously considering the idea of returning to Europe in the upcoming winter transfer window.
According to Díaz, the veteran French star received a direct call from coach José Mourinho, who wishes to include him in the ranks of Benfica next January.
The source added that Al-Ittihad offered Benzema an extension of his contract until 2027, but the recent loss against Al-Nassr (2-0) has increased the uncertainties surrounding his future with the team.
