Sources have revealed that Pyramids Club is targeting a deal to acquire Malian midfielder Aliou Diang from Al Ahly in the upcoming period.
According to the sources, Pyramids' management is keen on signing Diang, and initial communication has taken place in recent days with those close to the player.
The sources indicated that the strong relationship between Walid Salah El Din, the football director at Al Ahly, and Mido Eid, the CEO of Pyramids, has facilitated discussions about the transfer.
Reports confirmed that the blue team has a desire to include Diang, in exchange for Al Ahly's interest in acquiring Osama Galal or Mahmoud Mari, the defensive duo from Pyramids.
The sources stated that if the matter is finalized in January, it will be through a swap deal involving Diang moving to Pyramids in exchange for one of the players, either Osama Galal or Mahmoud Mari, heading to Al Ahly.
