Al Ahly Files Complaint Against Media Figure Medhat Shalaby
The Egyptian Al Ahly club announced today, Thursday, that it has decided to take legal action against media figure Medhat Shalaby due to his statements about the club's president Mahmoud Kahraba.
The Al Ahly administration stated in a statement that it has tasked Mohamed Osman, the club's legal advisor, to file a complaint with the public prosecutor in addition to an urgent complaint to the Supreme Council for Media Regulation.
The statement added that this step comes in response to what Medhat Shalaby has stated, which the administration described as "incorrect and offensive."
Medhat Shalaby had hinted that the president of the Red Castle, Mahmoud Kahraba, is using his health condition as an excuse to justify the council's failures.
