Major General Maad Badai, head of the interim administrative body of the Air Force Club, announced an important decision before facing Al-Minaa next Saturday in the third round of the Iraqi Stars League, by granting fans the opportunity to attend the match for free.

Badai explained, through a video clip published by the club's official account on social media, that entry for fans will be free for the match against Al-Minaa, while tickets for upcoming matches after this encounter will be sold for 3,000 Iraqi dinars (about 2.3 US dollars).

This decision comes as part of the interim body's efforts to enhance fan attendance and support the team at the beginning of the league, where the Air Force started its journey with a victory over Al-Karkh (1-0) before losing to Zakho (2-1).

In a related context, the Air Force Club management received Qutaiba bin Said Al-Ghailani, the vice president of the Oman Football Association, who congratulated them on the occasion of the interim body's assumption of its duties.

The meeting discussed the club's rich history and its achievements in local and Asian championships, in addition to exploring ways for joint cooperation and opening avenues for future partnership with the Oman Football Association.

Major General Maad Badai expressed his gratitude and appreciation for this brotherly visit, wishing the Omani football team success in its journey towards reaching the World Cup.

It is worth noting that this season, the Air Force team is coached by the Omani coach Rashid Jaber.
