Al-Shennawi Returns to Protect Al-Ahly Against Zamalek
Sources have revealed that Imad Nossar, the interim coach of Al-Ahly Club, is set to send Mohamed Al-Shennawi to guard the red team's goal against Zamalek next Monday, in the ninth round of the league competition.
According to the sources, Imad Nossar prefers to rely on Mohamed Al-Shennawi in the face-off against Zamalek instead of Mustafa Shobeir, following the latter's mistake in the match against Haras El-Hodood, in addition to Al-Shennawi's experience.
Al-Ahly managed to secure a difficult victory over Haras El-Hodood yesterday, Tuesday, with a score of 3-2 in the eighth round of the Egyptian league.
As a result, Al-Ahly occupies the fourth position in the Egyptian league standings with 12 points, while Zamalek leads the championship with 17 points.
