Argentinian international and Real Madrid player Franco Mastantuno rejected the idea of comparing himself with Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, stating that his focus is on serving the team and achieving collective successes before any individual achievement.

Mastantuno said in press statements following the 4-1 victory over Levante: "I congratulate Lamine on the second place in the Ballon d'Or. He is a great player and doesn't need my endorsement."
