Tuesday 23-09-2025
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation is working on a special friendly program for the national team during the upcoming international break scheduled between November 10 and 18, 2025, as part of the FIFA agenda.

According to confirmed data, the federation has turned to a global company specialized in organizing international matches to secure opponents whose technical level aligns with the vision set by coach Walid Regragui, who prefers to face strong African teams ranked among the top positions continentally, and prominent candidates for winning the Africa Cup of Nations 2025.

Negotiations included federations from Nigeria, Cameroon, Senegal, Ivory Coast, in addition to Zimbabwe, whose physical style is similar to Morocco's potential opponents in the tournament such as Zambia, Mali, and Comoros.

In this context, the Moroccan national team is expected to face its Bahraini counterpart in a friendly match on October 9, 2025, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, and will meet the Democratic Republic of Congo on the 14th of the same month, as part of the final round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
