Napoli announced today, Tuesday, the official renewal of its contract with the Italian international winger Matteo Politano.
The southern club mentioned that it signed a new contract with the 32-year-old player until the summer of 2028.
Politano joined Napoli from Inter Milan in 2021 for a fee of €22.1 million, after playing a season on loan prior to that.
During these years, Politano has played 238 matches with Napoli, scoring 34 goals and providing 35 assists, and has won the Italian league twice.
It is worth noting that Politano grew up in AS Roma and has played for Pescara, Perugia, Sassuolo, and Inter throughout his career.
