Mido Launches Attack on the Clubs Association
Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former Zamalek star, attacked the Egyptian Clubs Association over the timing of the Zamalek vs. Ghazl El-Mahalla match in the league.
Mido said on the platform "X": "The decision to play the Zamalek vs. Ghazl El-Mahalla match almost at the same time as the Pyramids vs. Al Ahly match, which represents Egypt, is a decision that shows a lack of respect and appreciation from the Clubs Association towards Pyramids."
He added: "I don't understand what the officials' insistence is on not giving Pyramids its rights as if it is being punished for daring to become a fierce competitor in all championships!! Yes, we encourage foreign investment in Egyptian sports."
The Zamalek vs. Ghazl El-Mahalla match kicks off at 8 PM today as part of the Premier League competitions.
The Pyramids vs. Al Ahly match is scheduled to take place at 9 PM today in the Intercontinental Cup.
