Lamine Yamal Wins the Kopa Trophy
The Spanish star Lamine Yamal stated after being awarded the Kopa Trophy for the best young player in the world 2025, presented by France Football during the ceremony currently taking place in the French capital, Paris.
Yamal said: "Thank you very much to France Football, to the national team, and to my clubs. I hope to continue working hard and win many more awards."
Regarding the possibility of competing for the Ballon d'Or in the future, Yamal replied with a smile: "I don't know."
He then added later in a brief response: "Maybe..."
Yamal has become the first player in history to win the Kopa Trophy for the best player in the world twice after winning it last year.
