Egyptian coach Moamen Soliman expressed his happiness with the level his players demonstrated in the valuable victory over Duhok with a clean two-goal score, in the second round of the Iraqi Premier League.

Soliman said in the press conference after the match: "We completely dominated throughout the 90 minutes, but the final touch needs more play and harmony. We created clear opportunities and presented enjoyable football, and these indicators confirm our tactical readiness for the upcoming matches."

He added: "The team appeared at a high level despite the strong organization of Duhok, to whom we have great respect. But the character of Al-Shorta decided the match in the end thanks to the players' discipline and adherence to the instructions."

The Egyptian coach further stated: "Today's victory is very important because it came at the beginning of the local journey, after we played a tough match in the AFC Champions League against Al-Sadd of Qatar. The team showed high concentration and proved that it is capable of competing locally and continentally with the same strength."

He continued: "We have elements capable of making a difference at any moment, but we need to address some small details such as finishing attacks perfectly, as we missed clear opportunities that could have given us a larger victory."

He concluded his remarks by saying: "Al-Shorta fans deserve this victory, and they are always the biggest supporters of the team. We will continue to work to keep the team at the top, and we will prepare strongly for our upcoming matches that will not be less difficult than this one."
