Sunday 21-09-2025
Renaissance Berkane snatched a valuable draw (1-1) against their hosts, Togolese club Kara, in the match held this Sunday afternoon at the Kegue Stadium, as part of the first leg of the preliminary round of the African Confederation Cup.

The hosts took the lead at the beginning of the second half through player Auro Aiva, before the top scorer Osama El Meloui managed to equalize for the orange team in the 77th minute, marking the first goal for Renaissance Berkane in this season's continental competition.

With this away draw, the Moroccan team postponed the decision for the qualification to the 32nd round to the return leg, which will take place next week in the city of Berkane, where a win is sufficient for them to secure advancement.
