Jose Gomes, the coach of Al-Fateh, criticized the referee of the last match against Al-Ittihad in the second round of the Roshen League, which ended with Al-Ittihad winning 4-2.

Al-Fateh will face Al-Hazm next Saturday in the third round of the tournament.

Gomez said in the pre-match press conference for the Al-Hazm game: "I was angry about what happened with the refereeing crew in the Al-Ittihad match, and I advised the referee to review the match for improvement."

Regarding the match against Al-Hazm, Gomez said: "I know the style of coach Jalal Qadri, who plays defensively, and this is a style Al-Hazm is accustomed to, but we are striving for victory."

He added that the team's player, Karl Toko Ekambi, is not fully ready to participate with the team.

He noted: "The matter of Ekambi's participation against Al-Hazm depends on his technical and physical readiness."
