The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that the UEFA has indicated Montjuïc Stadium as a potential venue for the match between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, scheduled for October 1, although there has been no official confirmation from the Catalan club yet.

Barcelona is working on an alternative plan at Montjuïc Stadium in case the match cannot be held at Spotify Camp Nou, which may host the team's match against Real Sociedad in the Spanish league. The ground of Montjuïc Stadium has already been prepared for the installation of new grass, which is scheduled to be completed by next Friday.

The rules of the Champions League state that all group stage matches must be held at the same stadium, meaning that the adoption of Montjuïc could also include the team's matches against Olympiacos on October 21, Eintracht Frankfurt on December 9, and Copenhagen on January 28.

The club confirmed that the alternative plan for Montjuïc is still being prepared, with only a few weeks remaining before the match to make the final decision regarding the possibility of playing at Camp Nou, given the difficulty of opening additional entrances or allocating separate areas for the visiting team's fans.
