French defender Dayot Upamecano of Bayern Munich spoke about his future with the team, amidst interest from several prominent European clubs, most notably Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United.

Upamecano stated in remarks to the German newspaper "Bild": "I feel comfortable here, I am happy, my agent is talking to Bayern Munich officials, discussions are ongoing, there is nothing to say, we will see what happens."

Upamecano is 26 years old and plays as a center-back. He joined Bayern Munich in 2021 from Leipzig, and his contract with the German club expires in the summer of 2026.

Bayern Munich needs to meet the player's salary demands if they wish to retain him before he enters the free agency period next January, to avoid losing him for free next summer.
