Pinto's inclusion comes in preparation for the possibility of relying on him as a starter against Esteghlal Dushanbe, in the first round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League, where Al-Nassr aims to make a strong start in the continental tournament.

Press sources confirmed that the Brazilian goalkeeper is now technically and physically ready to participate, which provides Jesus with wider options in the starting lineup, especially after the absence of other stars due to rest or injuries.

Pinto occupies the main goalkeeper position among the coaching staff's options, making him a reliable substitute in case the coach decides to rest some key players during the anticipated match.

On the other hand, it is expected that Al-Nassr's lineup will feature prominent players such as Sadio Mane, Haroun Kamara, and Kingsley Coman in the attacking line, to compensate for the absence of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.

The match between Al-Nassr and Esteghlal Dushanbe kicks off this evening, Wednesday, at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh at 9:15 PM Saudi and Egyptian time, marking the team's first official test of the current Asian season.
