Manchester United Achieves Record Revenues in the 2024/2025 Season
Wednesday 17-09-2025
Sky Sports announced that Manchester United achieved record revenues during the 2024/2025 season amounting to £666.5 million, despite missing out on the Champions League last season. Despite this financial achievement, the club recorded a net loss of £33 million, compared to a loss of £113 million in the previous season.

The club's annual accounts revealed a 4.5% decrease in total operating expenses, while employee costs fell by 14.1%, equivalent to £51.5 million, due to the sale or loan of several high-salaried players, along with a wide restructuring that included the layoff of more than 250 employees at Old Trafford.

The sponsorship deal the club signed with Snapdragon, which is the highest value of its kind in the sports world, significantly contributed to supporting revenues with four years remaining on the contract.

The club's board continues to call for financial caution despite the significant improvement in loss results, as the club intends to take further cost-cutting measures as part of a comprehensive restructuring under the leadership of INEOS.
